ENGLISH VERSION:
Lens Dans Fest is an international video dance festival that celebrates and promotes this discipline with an interdisciplinary art form that creates a bridge between dance and cinema.
The festival’s closing day features a live performance by the winning act, a roundtable discussion, an open mic session with invited industry artists—Aina Lanas and Tuixén Benet—the awards ceremony, and a DJ set, offering a relaxed atmosphere for socializing and networking.
Through audiovisual projections, live performances, conferences, music and creative exchanges, Lens Dans offers artists the opportunity to present their work to the public and establish links that go beyond the social spheres. The festival aims to expand video dance beyond conventional stages, reach new audiences and build an international community in which artists can work together, share experiences and believe in countries that do not just follow theater and cinema shows.
In its fourth edition, the festival articulates the international call for video dance in four categories:
The program's trajectory seeks to showcase, compensate, and internationalize the work of dance and audiovisual artists, while fostering exchange between disciplines, cultures, and new creative languages.
