For what purpose do we collect your data?

We do so solely for the purpose of facilitating registration and payment for events. Once these data are registered, we make them available to the organizers to manage specific aspects of each event.

To whom will we transfer your data?

ticketing.cat does not directly manage events; instead, we act as data registrars, and subsequently transfer your data to the event organizers, who are the ones who actually use your data.

What are your rights?

The transfer of your data and the consent you have granted us for its processing grant you a series of rights, which are as follows:

  • Request access to your personal data.
  • Request the rectification or deletion of this data.
  • Request the limitation of its processing.
  • Object to its processing.

1.1 Applicable regulations

Our Privacy Policy has been designed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and the Spanish legislation on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

- Process your registration request to the Organizing Entity of the race through the acceptance of the corresponding form.

- Send you by email the confirmation of your registration as well as the possibility to verify it through the website.

- Send you by email the communication of event.

2.1 Data Retention Period

We will retain your personal data from the moment you give us your consent until you revoke it or request the limitation of the processing. In these cases, we will keep your data blocked for the legally required periods.

3. LEGITIMATION AND DATA COLLECTED

The authorization for the processing of your data is the express consent granted through a positive and affirmative act (filling out the corresponding form and checking the box indicating that you have read and accepted this Privacy Policy) at the time of providing us with your personal data.

3.1. Consent to process your data

By filling out the forms, checking the box "I have read and accept the Privacy Policy," and clicking to submit the data, or by sending emails to the company through their designated email accounts, the User expressly acknowledges having read and accepted the present privacy policy, and grants their unequivocal and express consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the stated purposes.

3.2. Data categories

The requested data pertain to the category of identifying information, such as: Name and Surnames, Postal Address, Telephone, Email Address, ID Number, Gender, Date of Birth, as well as the IP address from which the data collection form is accessed.

4. SECURITY MEASURES

As part of our commitment to ensuring the security and confidentiality of your personal data, we inform you that we have implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of your personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized access, or processing, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the stored data, and the risks to which they are exposed, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR EU 679/2016.

5. DATA TRANSFER

Your data will be transferred in any case to the event organizer for their management in accordance with their Privacy Policy, which you can consult on the organizer's website. No other transfer or international transfers of your data are foreseen, except as authorized by tax, commercial, and telecommunications legislation, as well as in cases where a judicial authority requires it.

6. USER RIGHTS

Any interested party has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data concerning them or not. Interested individuals have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Under certain circumstances, interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims. For reasons related to their particular situation, interested parties may object to the processing of their data. The Data Controller will cease to process the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.

7. CONSENT FOR THE SENDING OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

Likewise, and in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002, of June 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, by completing the data collection form and checking the corresponding box "I have read and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy", you are granting express consent to receive information related to our Company and/or the race organizer at your email address, telephone, or other electronic means.

8. DATA RECOVERY IN SUBSEQUENT DATA COLLECTION FORMS

Whenever you have expressly authorized it when formalizing registration, and in order to facilitate the completion of subsequent forms on LADEUS, upon entering your identification document number in a new data collection form, your personal data may be displayed on the screen so that you do not have to fill in all this data again each time.
